Cindy Bernard’s career spans nearly three decades and she is best known for photographs and projections that explore the relationship between cinema, memory, and landscape including the widely exhibited series Ask the Dust now in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. She is a recipient of grants and fellowships from the J. Paul Getty Trust Fund for the Visual Arts, California Arts Council, Creative Capital, Anonymous Was a Woman, the Harpo Foundation, California Community Foundation and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Japan, and was included in the Whitney and Lyon Biennials.
An All-American at Pepperdine, Gullett was a NCAA doubles finalist losing a tough three setter to the Bryan Brothers with partner Robert Lindstedt.
Following college, Gullett reached the top 250 in the world in doubles with wins over James Blake, amongst others, traveling throughout the United States, Central America, and Asia.
When Kelly is not teaching, he is a professional actor.
